I have just returned from an amazing vacation in Dubai. It was my first time there, and it is definitely not my last. I was traveling with a good friend and she was also my private guide. We rented a car for the first two days, so we could easily get around. We drove to Abu Dhabi, were I bought a pair of Levis jeans at half the price of what they cost in Denmark -Jubi!!
We did all the tourist thing you can do in Dubai. We went to Burj Khalifa (the world tallest building) twice, desert safari, saw camel race, had afternoon tea in Burj Al Arab, where we celebrated my friend´s birthday. We did a lot of shopping and ate very well. Most important of all the sun was shining and it was very hot.
If you like a city that moves fast, is rich and hot, then you will immediately fall in love with Dubai.
Here is a little update on my vacation to Spain. I had a great time there and the weather was amazing. I stayed at the Globales Samoa in Calas de Mallorca. It was my second time in that city, but this time it was on a different hotel. I can highly recommend this hotel if you are considering going to Mallorca.
I met some nice people and a lot of them were from the UK. On my way back home on the flight I saw Mont Blanc, which is the largest mountain in Europe.
This trip was exactly what I needed, a break from everything especially the university were I already am preparing for the exams.
Here back in Denmark the season has changed while I was gone and now autumn is here. I love when the seasons changes, but I am not finished with the sun and the heat, therefore I am looking forward to my next trip which will be in one month. And this time I am going to Dubai, hopefully I will be mentally ready for my exams after the second trip.

If you need some inspiration how to decorate a corner in your apartment in a way that shows who you are and how your style is, when keep reading.
Last weekend I was in Copenhagen visiting a friend of mine. She has just moved into her new apartment, and I want to show you guys one of my favourite corners in the apartment.
What she has done is actually very simple. She has made her beautiful designer bags in to art. It is a clever way to safe space in a small apartment and a way to get use of all the bags at ones. In the morning she can easily pic one and switch between them when ever she wants.
If you love the bags like me you can see the names of them her.
Do you want to spoil someone special or just your self? When keep reading.
I don’t know the English word for this cake, but in Denmark we ca
ll it Sarah Bernhardt, so I choose to call it the same here on my blog. In the picture it may NOT look nice or pretty but it is a piece of heaven. It is a small but heavy cake, which makes it perfect for a romantic evening with fruit or anything else that is light. Are you on the other hand looking forward to a quiet night alone, when these are all youneed.
TIP: I normally use an icing bag, but I was all out. So a piece of advice always use an icing bag, when they will look a lot more elegant and presentable.
The bottom of the cake:
135 gram sugar
150 gram marzipan
1-2 egg white
You decide the sizes of the small cakes and bake them at 175 degree in 15 minute.
Boil 1.25 decilitre water with 100 gram sugar until it creates a syrup type of state. (Remember to keep stirring)
After that you pour it in a bowl with 4-egg yolk and
y. When it is cold you whip 200 gram of butter in but only one teaspoon at a time. Finally you whip 1.25 tablespoon cocoa powder.
TIP: freeze the cakes when it is easier to get the melted chocolate on
Have you tried apple cider vinegar in your hair? It may sound a bit strange at least it did to me when I first read about it. But I thought I would give it a go, and I will definitely do it again! It is a good way to get clean and hair without spending a lot of money on different products.
When you clean your hair with apple cider vinegar, you can clearly feel the difference from the before and after result. The reason why you should use apple cider vinegar to clean your hair, is because it cleans it for waste products and other products without damaging the hair. You will be left with a more healthy and shiny hair, and who doesn’t want that?
TIP: If you suffer from dandruff, apple cider vinegar can help reduce it.
When I tried it, I used ecological apple cider vinegar, because there is more vitamin and fibre in it.
How do you clean it with apple cider vinegar?
First you mix one cup apple cider vinegar with two cups of distilled water. When you have cleaned your hair with shampoo and washed just like you normally do, you are ready to apply your mixture. Make sure you leave it in for 10 to 15 minutes, after that you are ready to wash it out and you will feel the difference right away.
